This 20 unit Co-Housing project is
designed for a diverse community within the Central District. A mixed income
community, it will also accommodate 5 affordable housing units secured by
Homestead Community Housing. Designed for a 16,000 sf L-3 lot, the project
housing units surround a secure green courtyard, with a central common house
in the middle. With community kitchen and dining, the common house also
houses a library and meeting area. The project was designed with sustainable
principles in mind - a common green roof acts as an amenity for the project,
and solar water panels act as sun screening devices. Stormwater will be
harvested to help create water features throughout the project. |
